Search & Marketing Engineer (SEO & Performance)

Job Description

Remote is looking for a Senior Search & Marketing Engineer responsible for implementing SEO best practices and optimising frontend performance to enhance search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and ensure fast load times for a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement technical SEO improvements across Remote's marketing website
- Optimise Core Web Vitals and frontend performance for search rankings
- Collaborate with the marketing and engineering teams on SEO-driven development
- Monitor crawlability, indexation, and site health via Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
- Build and maintain structured data and schema markup

Requirements:
- Strong frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Deep understanding of technical SEO principles
- Experience with page speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals
- Familiarity with Next.js or similar modern web frameworks
- Experience using Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar SEO tools

Salary: $51,850 – $137,150 USD depending on location. All positions at Remote are fully remote.
