SEO Specialist (3-Month Contract)

Job Description

We Work Remotely, the world's largest remote work community, is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join their team on a 3-month contract to elevate their organic growth strategy and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full technical audit of the website and implement key fixes (Core Web Vitals, site structure, crawlability)
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy focused on both employers and job seekers
- Identify and optimise for high-intent keywords related to remote work, hiring, and job search
- Perform content audits and provide optimisation guidance across the blog and landing pages
- Analyse traffic and ranking performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or SEMRush
- Create a reporting system to track progress, KPIs, and actionable next steps
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO with campaigns and content strategy

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, site architecture, internal linking, and performance optimisation
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console)
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and translate data into actions
- Bonus: experience working with marketplaces or job platforms
