SEO Specialist

Job Description

Pavago connects US businesses with highly skilled offshore marketing talent, offering a smarter way to build effective remote teams. We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to improve website visibility, organic search rankings, and inbound traffic for our US-based clients.

This role requires working US client business hours with flexibility for campaign deadlines, audits, and reporting cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research using SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner for client campaigns
- Run technical site audits and create prioritized fix lists for development teams
- Optimize existing pages for improved rankings and conversion performance
- Coordinate with content writers to create SEO-optimized articles and landing pages
- Update performance reports and present findings to marketing or leadership teams
- Partner with content, development, and marketing teams to execute integrated SEO strategies
- Provide SEO recommendations during website redesigns, platform migrations, and product launches
- Monitor organic performance and iterate based on data-driven insights

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with SEO tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategy
- Proactive problem solver who stays current with algorithm updates and industry trends
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams across time zones
